- Lead and manage a team of nurses in the Critical Care Unit on the night shift.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care by providing guidance and support to the nursing staff.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and maintain unit compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to nursing staff.
- Assist with the recruitment, hiring, and training of new nursing staff.
- Act as a liaison between nursing staff and upper management, communicating any issues or concerns that may arise.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to make sound decisions in emergency situations.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in critical care nursing and serve as a resource for the nursing staff.
- Ensure that all patient records and documentation are accurate and up-to-date.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and open communication.
- Act as a role model for the nursing staff by displaying professionalism, compassion, and excellence in patient care.
- Participate in budget planning and management for the unit.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Canm At Orlando Health Must Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Ensures That The Individual Has A Strong Foundation In Nursing Principles And Is Equipped With The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Manage Critical Care Patients.
Current Rn License In The State Of Florida: To Be Eligible For The Canm Position, The Candidate Must Hold A Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida. This Ensures That The Individual Is Legally Authorized To Practice Nursing In The State And Is Up-To-Date On The Latest Nursing Regulations And Standards.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Critical Care: Orlando Health Expects Its Canm To Have A Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Critical Care Setting. This Experience Provides The Necessary Expertise To Manage Complex And High-Acuity Patients In The Critical Care Unit.
Previous Leadership Experience: The Canm Must Have Previous Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Critical Care Unit. This Includes Experience In Managing Staff, Overseeing Patient Care, And Ensuring Compliance With Policies And Procedures.
Bls And Acls Certification: The Canm Must Hold Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications. These Certifications Are Essential For Providing Emergency Care To Critically Ill Patients And Must Be Renewed Periodically To Maintain Competency.
