  1. Assist the Nurse Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the Acute department, including patient care, staff scheduling, and resource management.
  2. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
  3. Monitor patient progress and provide support and guidance to nursing staff to ensure quality care is delivered.
  4. Serve as a resource for staff by providing guidance, education, and training on clinical procedures, policies, and protocols.
  5. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as hospital policies and procedures.
  6. Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of new nursing staff, and provide ongoing support and mentorship to promote professional growth and development.
  7. Participate in performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to maintain and improve the quality of patient care.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to facilitate efficient and effective patient care, including coordinating interdepartmental processes and services.
  9. Monitor and manage inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment to ensure adequate availability for patient care.
  10. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, staff performance, and departmental activities.
  11. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare team members to address any concerns or issues and ensure patient satisfaction.
  12. Stay up-to-date on current healthcare trends, best practices, and evidence-based research to continuously improve patient care and departmental operations.
  13. Participate in departmental meetings and committees to contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of job performance.
  15. Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and development through continuing education and participation in relevant workshops, conferences, and training programs.

Job Qualifications
  • Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In An Acute Care Hospital.

  • Previous Leadership Experience, Such As Charge Nurse Or Supervisor Role.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multidisciplinary Teams And Manage Staff Effectively.
