  1. Develop and implement a wide range of recreational activities and programs for children in our care.
  2. Collaborate with medical staff, parents, and caregivers to understand the needs and interests of each child.
  3. Create a safe and welcoming environment for children to participate in recreational activities.
  4. Maintain a schedule of activities and ensure all necessary materials and equipment are available.
  5. Provide guidance and supervision to children during recreational activities to ensure their safety and well-being.
  6. Plan and organize special events and outings for children, such as field trips or themed parties.
  7. Keep accurate records of attendance and participation in recreational activities.
  8. Communicate with parents and caregivers about upcoming activities and events.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized recreational area for children to use.
  10. Continuously evaluate and improve recreational activities based on feedback from children and their families.
  11. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols.
  12. Train and supervise volunteers who assist with recreational activities.
  13. Attend regular staff meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices and procedures.
  14. Collaborate with other departments and organizations to provide a diverse range of recreational activities for children.
  15. Uphold Orlando Health's mission and values while interacting with children and their families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Recreation Management, Child Development, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working In A Recreational Activities Program For Children.

  • Knowledge Of Child Development Principles And Experience In Creating And Implementing Age-Appropriate Activities.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With Children, Parents, And Coworkers.

  • Current Cpr And First Aid Certification, As Well As Any Required State Or Local Certifications For Working With Children.
