2. Work collaboratively with occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
3. Implement therapeutic activities and exercises to help patients improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.
4. Monitor and document patient progress, including changes in function and response to treatment.
5. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and exercises to continue at home.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to patient care and safety.
8. Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
9. Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
10. Stay current on the latest research and advancements in occupational therapy to enhance patient care.
11. Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional development.
12. Maintain a clean and organized therapy workspace, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.

14. Act as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed in a timely and compassionate manner.
