- Utilize knowledge and skills to provide comprehensive care to women and families, including prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Educate and support patients on various aspects of women's health, including childbirth, breastfeeding, and postpartum care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure the well-being of patients and staff.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: Candidates For A Certified Nurse Midwife Position At Orlando Health Must Have A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution. This Provides A Foundation In Nursing Principles And Prepares Individuals For Advanced Practice In Midwifery.
Master's Degree In Midwifery: In Addition To A Nursing Degree, Candidates Must Also Possess A Master's Degree In Midwifery From An Accredited Program. This Specialized Education Equips Individuals With The Knowledge And Skills Necessary To Provide Comprehensive Care To Women During Pregnancy, Childbirth, And Postpartum.
Current Rn License: A Valid And Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License Is Required For A Certified Nurse Midwife Position At Orlando Health. This Ensures That Candidates Have Met The Necessary Requirements To Practice As A Nurse In The State Of Florida.
Certification By The American Midwifery Certification Board: To Be Eligible For A Certified Nurse Midwife Position At Orlando Health, Candidates Must Hold Current Certification From The American Midwifery Certification Board (Amcb). This Certification Demonstrates That An Individual Has Met The National Standards For Practice In Midwifery.
Previous Experience In Midwifery: While Not Always Required, Previous Experience In Midwifery Is Highly Valued For A Certified Nurse Midwife Job At Orlando Health.
