Current Cma Certification: A Valid Certified Medical Assistant Certification From The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or American Medical Technologists (Amt) Is Required.
Experience In A Medical Setting: Candidates Should Have At Least 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In A Medical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinic.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Procedures: A Certified Medical Assistant Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Procedures, Including Basic Pharmacology, Anatomy And Physiology, And Medical Coding And Billing.
