
Certified Medical Assistant

- Provide exceptional patient care: The Certified Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being at all times.
- Assist healthcare providers: The individual in this role will work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to assist with patient care. This may include taking vital signs, assisting with procedures, and providing support during exams.
- Ensure smooth operation of the medical practice: The Certified Medical Assistant will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the medical practice, helping to maintain a clean and organized workspace, managing patient flow, and ensuring all necessary supplies and equipment are readily available.
- Utilize clinical skills: This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols. The Certified Medical Assistant will utilize their clinical skills to accurately record patient information, perform basic lab tests, and administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
- Maintain patient records: The individual in this role will be responsible for accurately documenting patient information in electronic medical records, ensuring all data is kept confidential and in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrate a warm and welcoming personality: The ideal candidate will possess a friendly and approachable demeanor, making patients feel comfortable and at ease during their visit. They will also be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, and greeting patients upon arrival.
- Stay updated on industry developments: The Certified Medical Assistant will be expected to stay current with industry developments, attend training sessions, and complete continuing education requirements to maintain their certification.
- Collaborate with team members: This role requires strong teamwork and collaboration skills, as the Certified Medical Assistant will work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to provide coordinated and efficient patient care.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols: The individual in this role will be responsible for following all safety and infection control protocols to protect themselves, patients, and colleagues from potential hazards.

Certification: Possession Of A Valid Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification From A Recognized Accrediting Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The National Healthcareer Association (Nha).
Education: Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program Or Equivalent Education, Such As An Associate’s Degree In Medical Assisting.
Experience: Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working As A Medical Assistant In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology: Strong Understanding Of Medical Terminology And Ability To Accurately Document Patient Information In Electronic Medical Records.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact And Communicate Effectively With Patients, Healthcare Professionals, And Other Team Members.
