Job Qualifications
  • Completion Of An Accredited Medical Assistant Program: A Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Must Have Completed An Accredited Program To Ensure They Have The Necessary Knowledge And Skills In Medical Assisting. This Program Includes Coursework In Anatomy, Physiology, Medical Terminology, And Clinical Procedures.

  • Current Certification As A Cma: To Be Considered For A Certified Medical Assistant - Outpatient Cardiology Job At Orlando Health, Candidates Must Have A Current And Valid Cma Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or American Medical Technologists (Amt).

  • Experience In Outpatient Cardiology: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience Working In An Outpatient Cardiology Setting. This Experience Will Demonstrate Their Understanding Of Cardiology Procedures, Equipment, And Terminology, Making Them Better Equipped To Assist The Physicians In This Department.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Medical Assistant, You Will Be Interacting With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals On A Daily Basis. It Is Essential To Have Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Ensure Clear And Effective Communication With All Parties.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Health Records (Ehr) Systems: Orlando Health Utilizes Electronic Health Records To Manage Patient Information And Medical Records. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Experience And Knowledge Of Using Ehr Systems To Document Patient Encounters Accurately And Efficiently.
