  1. Provide compassionate care and support to patients with bone health conditions, specifically osteoporosis.
  2. Perform various clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, collecting specimens, and assisting with procedures.
  3. Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
  5. Educate patients on bone health and osteoporosis management, including medication adherence and lifestyle changes.
  6. Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care and outcomes for patients.
  7. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to provide a positive and welcoming environment.
  8. Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  9. Attend and actively participate in team meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  10. Maintain professional and ethical standards at all times, adhering to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
  11. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, addressing any concerns or questions and providing necessary support and resources.
  12. Assist with scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and managing patient flow for efficient and effective care.
  13. Keep up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in osteoporosis treatments and technologies to enhance patient care.
  14. Proactively identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations to enhance efficiency and quality of care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of An Associate's Degree In Medical Assisting Or A Related Field.

  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification From A Recognized Organization (E.g. Aama, Amt).

  • Experience Working In A Bone Health Or Osteoporosis Care Setting, Preferably In A Clinical Or Hospital Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge And Understanding Of Bone Health And Osteoporosis, Including Risk Factors, Prevention, And Treatment Options.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Educate And Support Patients In Managing Their Bone Health.
