  1. Provide top-quality care and support to patients with bone health issues.
  2. Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with osteoporosis and other bone health conditions.
  3. Administer and record patient vitals, lab tests, and other medical procedures accurately and efficiently.
  4. Maintain patient records and ensure all documentation is complete and up-to-date.
  5. Assist healthcare providers in performing procedures and treatments.
  6. Educate patients on bone health and osteoporosis prevention and management.
  7. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients.
  8. Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or response to treatment.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  10. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, their families, and other healthcare team members.
  11. Continuously stay updated on current medical knowledge and best practices in bone health and osteoporosis care.
  12. Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  13. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
  14. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving patient care and department processes.
  15. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive patient experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Certification: Candidates For This Position Must Hold A Valid Cma Certification From An Accredited Institution. This Certification Demonstrates A Strong Foundation Of Knowledge And Skills In Medical Assisting, Including Bone Health And Osteoporosis Care.

  • Experience In Bone Health And Osteoporosis Care: Orlando Health Is Seeking Candidates With A Minimum Of 1-2 Years Of Experience In Bone Health And Osteoporosis Care. This Experience Should Include Knowledge Of Bone Density Testing, Fracture Risk Assessments, And Treatment Options For Osteoporosis.

  • Strong Communication Skills: As A Certified Medical Assistant In The Bone Health And Osteoporosis Care Department, It Is Essential To Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Educate And Counsel Patients On Their Bone Health. Candidates Should Also Be Able To Communicate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Record Patient Information Accurately.

  • Knowledge Of Electronic Medical Records: Orlando Health Utilizes Electronic Medical Records (Emr) For Patient Documentation, Scheduling, And Billing. Candidates Should Have Experience Working With Emrs And Be Proficient In Data Entry And Record Keeping.

  • Commitment To Continuing Education: Bone Health And Osteoporosis Care Are Constantly Evolving Fields, And It Is Crucial For Certified Medical Assistants To Stay Updated On The Latest Research And Treatment Options. Candidates Should Have A Commitment To Continuing Education And Be Willing To Attend Seminars, Webinars, And Conferences To Expand Their Knowledge In This Area.
