  1. Provide exceptional patient care: The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of care for all patients in accordance with Orlando Health's standards and protocols.
  2. Perform pre-operative evaluations: The candidate will be responsible for performing thorough pre-operative evaluations on patients to assess their medical history and determine the appropriate anesthetic approach.
  3. Assist with anesthesia administration: The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant will assist the anesthesiologist in administering anesthesia to patients, including monitoring vital signs and adjusting dosages as needed.
  4. Monitor patients during surgery: The candidate will be responsible for closely monitoring patients during surgery, including administering medications and adjusting anesthesia levels as needed.
  5. Maintain accurate records: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of patient information, anesthesia administration, and other relevant data.
  6. Collaborate with the healthcare team: The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant will work closely with the anesthesiologist, surgeons, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
  7. Stay current with industry developments: The candidate will be responsible for staying informed about new developments and advancements in the field of anesthesiology and implementing them in their work as appropriate.
  8. Adhere to safety protocols: The Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant will be responsible for following all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe and sterile environment for patients and healthcare staff.
  9. Train and supervise staff: The candidate will be responsible for training and supervising other staff members, such as anesthesia technicians and assistants, to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  10. Maintain certifications and licenses: The candidate will be responsible for maintaining all necessary certifications and licenses required to practice as a Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant in the state of Florida.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Anesthesiology Or Related Field From An Accredited Program.

  • Certification From The National Commission For Certification Of Anesthesiologist Assistants (Nccaa).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant.

  • Proficiency In Administering Anesthesia, Monitoring Patients, And Managing Airway Emergencies.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Well In A Fast-Paced And High-Stress Environment.
