  1. Perform non-invasive ultrasound procedures on patients to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions.
  2. Utilize advanced imaging equipment and techniques to obtain high-quality images of the heart and surrounding areas.
  3. Follow established protocols and safety measures to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
  4. Document and maintain accurate records of all procedures performed, including patient information and test results.
  5. Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive and coordinated care to patients.
  6. Continuously monitor and assess patient condition during procedures, and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare provider.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage and maintenance of equipment.
  8. Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of cardiac imaging, and participate in trainings and workshops as necessary.
  9. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
  10. Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
  11. Follow best practices and ethical standards in all aspects of job duties.
  12. Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of patient care.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.
  14. Maintain a positive and professional attitude, and actively contribute to a collaborative and supportive work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Diagnostic Medical Sonography Or Related Field

  • Current Certification As A Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Rcs) Through The American Registry For Diagnostic Medical Sonography (Ardms)

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Performing Adult Echocardiograms And Stress Echocardiograms

  • Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Physiology, And Pathology

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills For Interacting With Patients And Healthcare Team Members
