In this role, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of cardiac device patients.   1. Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments of patients with cardiac devices, including pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs) and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT) devices.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans for patients with cardiac devices.
  3. Perform device interrogation, programming, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functioning and optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Educate patients and their families about cardiac devices, including device functionality, potential risks, and post-procedure care.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress and device function through regular check-ups and remote monitoring.
  6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including device information, test results, and treatment plans.
  7. Stay current on advancements and updates in cardiac device technology and procedures, and implement new practices as necessary.
  8. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions related to their cardiac devices.
  9. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients with cardiac devices.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations, to maintain a safe and ethical work environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Nursing, Biomedical Engineering, Or Healthcare Management.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Cardiac Devices, Such As Pacemakers, Defibrillators, Or Implantable Loop Recorders.

  • Certification From A Recognized Program, Such As The International Board Of Heart Rhythm Examiners (Ibhre) Or The Certified Cardiac Device Specialist (Ccds) Credential.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Cardiac Anatomy, Rhythm Interpretation, And Electrocardiogram (Ecg) Analysis.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Educate Patients And Healthcare Providers On The Use And Maintenance Of Cardiac Devices.
