Orlando Health Cancer Institute is seeking a dedicated Bone Marrow Transplant & Cellular Therapy Coordinator I to join our team at ORMC ONC BMT. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy patient care, providing support and education to patients and their families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.   1. Coordinate and manage all aspects of bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy patient care.
  2. Provide support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for patients.
  4. Utilize strong oncology nursing knowledge and skills to provide high-quality care to cancer patients.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress.
  6. Act as a liaison between patients, families, and healthcare providers, advocating for the best possible outcomes.
  7. Monitor and assess patient responses to treatments and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare providers.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational policies and procedures related to bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy.
  9. Participate in ongoing education and training to remain current on advancements and best practices in bone marrow transplant and cellular therapy.
  10. Utilize excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
  11. Demonstrate empathy, compassion, and sensitivity in all interactions with patients and their families.
  12. Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail in managing patient schedules and treatment plans.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Bone Marrow Transplant And Cellular Therapy.

  • Current Florida Rn License.

  • Certification In Oncology Nursing (Ocn) Or Bone Marrow Transplant (Bmtcn) Preferred.

  • Demonstrated Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements, Patient Safety, And Quality Improvement Processes.
