- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on a wide range of biomedical and electronic equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions in a timely and efficient manner.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed on equipment.
- Ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets safety regulations.
- Stay updated on advancements in technology and make recommendations for equipment upgrades and replacements.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless integration of technology into patient care.
- Provide training and support to staff on proper use and maintenance of equipment.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of equipment and parts.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding equipment usage and maintenance.
- Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency equipment issues as needed.
- Continuously strive to improve processes and procedures to enhance equipment performance and patient outcomes.
- Uphold a high level of professionalism and customer service when interacting with patients and staff.
- Adhere to all confidentiality policies and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Associate's Degree In Biomedical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Biomedical/Electronic Technician In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Medical Equipment And Technology, Including Troubleshooting And Repair.
Experience With Electronic Medical Record Systems And Computer Networking.
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With Excellent Communication And Problem-Solving Skills.
