Fluency In Both English And Spanish: The Bilingual Family Resource Specialist At Orlando Health Must Be Able To Communicate Effectively In Both English And Spanish, Both Verbally And In Writing. This Is Essential In Order To Effectively Serve The Diverse Patient Population At Orlando Health.
Bachelor's Degree In Social Work Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or A Related Field Is Typically Required For This Position. This Education Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Work With Families And Individuals In Need Of Support And Resources.
Previous Experience In A Healthcare Setting: Experience Working In A Healthcare Setting, Particularly In A Family Resource Or Social Work Role, Is Highly Preferred For This Position. This Experience Demonstrates An Understanding Of The Unique Challenges Faced By Families And Patients In A Medical Setting.
Knowledge Of Community Resources: The Bilingual Family Resource Specialist Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Community Resources Available For Families And Patients. This Includes Knowledge Of Government Programs, Non-Profit Organizations, And Other Resources That Can Provide Support And Assistance.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Necessary For This Role, As The Bilingual Family Resource Specialist Will Be Working Closely With Families And Patients In Often Stressful And Emotional Situations.
