- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and optimize operational efficiency within the hospital.
- Analyze financial data and reports to identify areas for improvement and recommend solutions to achieve financial goals.
- Monitor and track key performance indicators related to revenue management, such as reimbursement rates, billing and coding processes, and denials management.
- Collaborate with various departments, including billing and coding, finance, and clinical teams, to ensure accurate and timely revenue cycle processes.
- Train and supervise revenue management staff to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in healthcare reimbursement policies to effectively manage revenue streams.
- Develop and maintain relationships with insurance providers, payers, and other external stakeholders to negotiate contracts and resolve payment issues.
- Conduct audits and reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Prepare and present reports to senior management on revenue performance, trends, and projections.
- Participate in budget planning and forecasting processes to support financial goals and objectives.
- Act as a liaison between the revenue management team and other departments to facilitate communication and promote a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and tools in revenue management and implement them to enhance processes and outcomes.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all regulatory guidelines and privacy laws.
Bachelor's Degree In Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Healthcare Revenue Management, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Healthcare Billing And Reimbursement Processes, Including Insurance Verification, Claims Submission, And Denials Management.
Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify Trends And Suggest Solutions For Improving Revenue Performance.
Experience With Revenue Management Software And Systems, Such As Epic Or Meditech, And Proficiency In Microsoft Excel.
