  1. Develop and implement strategic plans for the Neuropsychology department in alignment with the overall goals and mission of Orlando Health.
  2. Oversee and manage the daily operations of the Neuropsychology department, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services to patients.
  3. Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of Neuropsychologists, support staff, and other healthcare professionals, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
  4. Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify areas for improvement for team members to ensure high-quality patient care.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals in the organization to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  6. Keep up-to-date with the latest advancements and research in the field of neuropsychology, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes.
  7. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners, such as referring physicians, community organizations, and insurance providers, to promote the services of the Neuropsychology department.
  8. Develop and manage the budget for the Neuropsychology department, ensuring financial stability and responsible resource allocation.
  9. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards, as well as organizational policies and procedures.
  10. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  11. Serve as a liaison between the Neuropsychology department and other departments within the organization, providing updates, reports, and recommendations as needed.
  12. Uphold the values and culture of Orlando Health, promoting a patient-centered, compassionate, and inclusive environment.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of the job.
  14. Act as a resource and provide support to patients and their families, addressing any concerns or questions they may have about their treatment and care.
  15. Stay informed about insurance coverage and reimbursement policies, and work with the billing department to ensure proper documentation and billing for services provided.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctoral Degree In Neuropsychology From An Accredited Institution

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Neuropsychological Assessment And Treatment

  • Current Licensure As A Psychologist In The State Of Florida

  • Experience In Supervising And Training Neuropsychology Staff And Trainees

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Other Healthcare Professionals And Provide Education To Patients And Their Families
