We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Assistant Nurse Operations Manager (ANOM) to join our team in the Women's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).   1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Women's Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  2. Provide support and guidance to the nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to best practices and protocols.
  3. Assist in developing and implementing unit goals, policies, and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  4. Collaborate with the Nurse Operations Manager to manage staffing levels, schedules, and assignments to meet patient needs and maintain budgetary guidelines.
  5. Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to nursing staff to promote professional growth and development.
  6. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accrediting agencies, including but not limited to Joint Commission, OSHA, and CMS.
  7. Collaborate with other departments and disciplines within the organization to facilitate interdisciplinary care and improve patient outcomes.
  8. Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff, providing support and guidance in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
  9. Participate in unit and hospital-wide committees and initiatives to improve quality of care and patient satisfaction.
  10. Maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with physicians, staff, and other healthcare professionals to promote a collaborative and patient-centered approach to care.
  11. Assist in managing departmental budgets and resources, including supplies, equipment, and staffing.
  12. Implement and maintain quality improvement initiatives to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to evidence-based practices.
  13. Participate in the hiring, orientation, and training of new nursing staff.
  14. Ensure compliance with all organizational policies, procedures, and standards of practice.
  15. Promote a culture of safety and support a safe work environment for all staff.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Related Field

  • Current Rn License In The State Of Florida

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Perioperative Or Pacu Nursing

  • Leadership Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Perioperative Or Pacu Department

  • Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Policies, Including Joint Commission And Osha Standards
