- Conduct comprehensive behavioral assessments to identify the needs and challenges of patients with behavioral disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and evidence-based practices.
- Implement and monitor treatment plans, making necessary adjustments as needed for optimal patient progress.
- Utilize various behavior analytic techniques and principles to address challenging behaviors and facilitate skill development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, therapists, and caregivers, to ensure coordinated and integrated care for patients.
- Provide ongoing training and support to caregivers and other team members to promote consistency and generalization of treatment strategies.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with professional and ethical standards.
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of applied behavior analysis and incorporate them into practice.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development and improvement initiatives.
- Adhere to all ethical, legal, and regulatory standards and guidelines in the provision of services.
- Represent Orlando Health in a professional and positive manner, promoting the organization's values and mission.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth through trainings, conferences, and other educational activities.
A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Applied Behavior Analysis Or A Related Field, Such As Psychology Or Education.
Certification As A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (Bcba) From The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (Bacb).
Experience Working With Individuals With Developmental Disabilities, Such As Autism, In A Clinical Or Educational Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Behavior Analysis Principles And Techniques, As Well As Experience Implementing Behavior Intervention Plans.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Training And Support To Caregivers And Other Professionals.
