  1. Coordinate schedules for ancillary services such as radiology, laboratory, and rehabilitation to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  2. Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other ancillary departments to schedule appointments and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date schedules for all ancillary services.
  4. Monitor and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate urgent or emergent patient needs.
  5. Utilize electronic scheduling systems to manage appointments and maintain patient records.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of services.
  7. Educate patients on the scheduling process and answer any questions or concerns they may have.
  8. Follow all relevant regulations and guidelines related to scheduling and patient privacy.
  9. Keep abreast of changes and updates in scheduling policies and procedures.
  10. Identify and report any issues or concerns related to scheduling to the appropriate supervisor.
  11. Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all scheduling tasks.
  12. Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and appointments in a fast-paced environment.

Job Qualifications
  • High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For An Ancillary Scheduler Job At Orlando Health Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent.

  • Previous Scheduling Experience: Candidates Should Have Prior Experience In Scheduling, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. This Includes Knowledge Of Scheduling Software And A Strong Understanding Of Scheduling Processes.
