Orlando Health is seeking a highly qualified and dedicated individual to join our team as the Air Care Nursing Operations Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our air medical transport program, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety for our patients.   1. Oversee the daily operations of the air medical transport program, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
  2. Ensure the highest level of quality and safety for patients by adhering to all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
  3. Develop and implement operational strategies to improve the overall performance of the air medical transport program.
  4. Supervise and mentor a team of nurses and aviation staff, providing guidance and support to optimize their performance.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach to patient care and transport.
  6. Monitor and manage the budget for the air medical transport program, making strategic decisions to maximize resources.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all operations, including patient data, flight logs, and inventory.
  8. Identify areas for improvement and implement process changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  9. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities for team members.
  10. Serve as a liaison between the air medical transport program and other departments, as well as external partners and agencies.
  11. Stay current on industry developments and best practices to continuously improve the program and ensure compliance.
  12. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including patients, families, and team members, to ensure a positive and professional experience.
  13. Uphold the values and mission of Orlando Health, and act as a role model for ethical and compassionate leadership.
  14. Respond promptly and effectively to any emergencies or critical incidents related to the air medical transport program.
  15. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Or Healthcare Administration

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Critical Care Or Emergency Nursing

  • Previous Management Experience In A Healthcare Setting

  • Knowledge Of Air Ambulance Operations And Regulations

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team Of Nurses And Other Healthcare Professionals.
