- Oversee the daily operations of the Oncology Express Symptom Management Infusion Team.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Lead and mentor a team of advanced practice providers, including nurses and physician assistants.
- Ensure that team members adhere to all regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans for cancer patients.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to team members.
- Handle any staffing issues or conflicts that may arise within the team.
- Monitor and manage the budget for the Oncology Express Symptom Management Infusion Team.
- Stay up-to-date on advancements and changes in the field of oncology, and incorporate new techniques and treatments into the team's practice.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and a patient-centered approach.
- Serve as a liaison between the team and other departments within the organization.
- Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting for the oncology department.
- Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient care and ensure compliance with documentation standards.
- Represent the team in meetings and presentations to share updates, progress, and challenges.
- Continuously assess and improve the quality of patient care provided by the team.

Advanced Degree: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Should Possess An Advanced Degree In Nursing, Such As A Master Of Science In Nursing (Msn) Or A Doctor Of Nursing Practice (Dnp). This Level Of Education Is Necessary To Ensure A Thorough Understanding Of Advanced Practice Nursing Concepts And Procedures.
Oncology Certification: As An Advanced Practice Provider, Manager- Oncology Express Symptom Management Infusion Team, The Candidate Should Possess A Certification In Oncology Nursing. This Certification Demonstrates A Specialized Knowledge And Skill Set In Caring For Patients With Cancer.
Leadership Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role, Preferably In An Oncology Setting. This Will Ensure That The Candidate Has The Necessary Skills To Manage A Team And Oversee The Delivery Of High-Quality Care.
Clinical Expertise: A Strong Clinical Background In Oncology Nursing Is Crucial For This Role. The Candidate Should Have At Least 5-7 Years Of Experience As A Practicing Oncology Nurse, With A Deep Understanding Of Symptom Management And Infusion Therapy.
Interpersonal And Communication Skills: As A Manager, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Interpersonal And Communication Skills To Effectively Lead And Collaborate With A Diverse Team Of Healthcare Professionals. This Includes The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients And Their Families To Provide Education And Support During Their Cancer Treatment Journey.
