
ADON/Staff Development Coordinator

- Develop and implement training and development programs for staff members.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify training needs and areas for improvement.
- Create and maintain training materials and resources.
- Coordinate and schedule training sessions for staff members.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff members to ensure continuous learning.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure training programs align with organizational goals and objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in staff development.
- Serve as a role model for excellent patient care and customer service.
- Mentor and coach staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among staff members to promote a positive work environment.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external training providers and vendors.
- Keep accurate records of training attendance, evaluations, and other relevant data.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
- Handle any administrative tasks related to staff development, such as budgeting and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to staff training and development.
- Act as a liaison between management and staff to address any concerns or issues related to training and development.
- Participate in leadership meetings and provide input on organizational strategies and initiatives.
- Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other professional development opportunities.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position. This Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills For Managing Staff And Facilitating Development Programs.
Active Rn License: An Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License Is Necessary To Practice As An Assistant Director Of Nursing (Adon) And Staff Development Coordinator. This License Ensures Proficiency In Nursing Practices And Regulations.
Leadership Experience: Previous Experience In A Leadership Role, Such As A Nurse Manager Or Supervisor, Is Preferred For This Position. This Demonstrates The Ability To Effectively Manage And Develop Staff.
Knowledge Of Nursing Education Principles: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Nursing Education Principles, Including Curriculum Development, Teaching Strategies, And Assessment Methods.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role. The Adon/Staff Development Coordinator Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Staff, Management, And Other Healthcare Professionals, As Well As Facilitating Training Sessions And Resolving Conflicts.
