Welcome to Oregon Health & Science University! We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as the Director of Immune Monitoring and Therapeutic Analytics. In this role, you will play a critical role in advancing our understanding and treatment of immune-mediated diseases. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive knowledge of immune monitoring techniques, and a deep understanding of therapeutic analytics.   1. Lead and manage the Immune Monitoring and Therapeutic Analytics team to ensure high-quality research and development of immunotherapy treatments.
  2. Act as the primary point of contact for all immune monitoring and therapeutic analytics activities within the organization.
  3. Develop and implement strategic plans for the advancement of research in immune-mediated diseases.
  4. Oversee the budget and resources of the department, ensuring efficient and effective use of funds.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and external partners to design and execute research projects and clinical trials.
  6. Stay current with advancements in immune monitoring techniques and therapeutic analytics, and integrate new technologies and methodologies into the department’s work.
  7. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  8. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for immune monitoring and therapeutic analytics processes.
  9. Analyze and interpret data, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  10. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical guidelines in the conduct of research.
  11. Identify and pursue opportunities for grant funding and external partnerships to support departmental goals.
  12. Represent the organization at conferences, seminars, and other events to share knowledge and promote research efforts.
  13. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and process optimization within the department.
  14. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of immune monitoring and therapeutic analytics with other research and clinical activities.
  15. Act as a subject matter expert on immune-mediated diseases and provide guidance to clinical and research teams.
  16. Develop and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and stakeholders in the field of immunology.
  17. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all departmental activities.
  18. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Immunology, Biology, Or A Related Field With A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Immune Monitoring And Therapeutic Analytics Research.

  • Extensive Knowledge And Experience In Developing And Implementing Immune Monitoring Assays And Techniques, Including Flow Cytometry, Elisa, And Multiplex Assays.

  • Proven Track Record Of Successfully Leading And Managing A Team Of Scientists And Researchers In A Fast-Paced Research Environment.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Critically Analyze Data And Develop Innovative Solutions.

  • Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Present Complex Data And Research Findings To Diverse Audiences.
