  1. Provide exceptional pharmaceutical care to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
  2. Dispense and compound medications accurately and efficiently according to established protocols and guidelines.
  3. Monitor drug therapy and patient response to ensure safe and effective use of medications.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  5. Stay up-to-date with current research and developments in oncology pharmacotherapy.
  6. Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide drug therapy recommendations as needed.
  7. Educate patients and caregivers on proper medication use and potential side effects.
  8. Maintain accurate and thorough patient records, including medication histories and interactions.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  10. Continuously improve processes and procedures to enhance patient care and safety.
  11. Provide relief coverage for other pharmacists in the oncology department as needed.
  12. Comply with all state and federal regulations and maintain a current pharmacy license.
  13. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and continuing education programs.
  14. Foster a positive and compassionate work environment for colleagues and patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited School Of Pharmacy.

  • Current Licensure As A Pharmacist In The State Of Oregon.

  • Board Certification In Oncology Pharmacy (Bcop) Or Completion Of A Pgy2 Residency In Oncology Pharmacy.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In An Oncology Pharmacy Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Chemotherapy Regimens, Supportive Care Medications, And Oncology-Specific Drug Interactions.
