  1. Lead the development and implementation of health information technology strategies and initiatives to support the organization's mission and goals.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize areas for improvement in health information systems.
  3. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of electronic health record systems and other health information technology applications.
  4. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to health information management and privacy.
  5. Analyze and interpret data from health information systems to identify trends and areas for improvement in patient care and operational efficiency.
  6. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clinicians, researchers, and IT professionals, to promote the effective use of health information technology.
  7. Train and educate staff on the use of health information systems and promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  8. Monitor and evaluate the performance of health information systems and make recommendations for enhancements and upgrades as needed.
  9. Serve as a liaison between the organization and external partners, vendors, and consultants to support the implementation and integration of new health information technology solutions.
  10. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in health informatics and make recommendations for their application within the organization.
  11. Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members in the health information technology department.
  12. Develop and manage the department budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to achieve departmental goals.
  13. Communicate with leadership and other stakeholders to provide updates on the progress and impact of health information technology initiatives.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Health Informatics, Healthcare Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Information Technology, With At Least 2 Years In A Leadership Or Management Role.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Electronic Health Record Systems, Health Data Management, And Data Analytics.

  • Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Regulations And Compliance, Including Hipaa And Hitech.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Effectively Communicate Complex Information To Various Stakeholders.
