
Assistant Nurse Manager, Cardiovascular Intermediate Care

- Oversee and manage daily operations of the Cardiovascular Intermediate Care unit.
- Provide leadership and support to a team of nurses, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
- Monitor and maintain staffing levels to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Conduct regular rounds and participate in patient care as needed, providing guidance and support to nursing staff.
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to patient care.
- Assess and address any issues or concerns within the unit, including patient and staff satisfaction.
- Utilize strong clinical knowledge and skills to provide direct patient care and serve as a resource for staff.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance patient care and support staff development.
- Participate in budget planning and resource allocation for the unit.
- Serve as a role model and mentor for staff, promoting a culture of compassion, teamwork, and excellence.
- Collaborate with leadership and participate in meetings and committees to improve overall hospital operations and patient outcomes.
- Stay current on best practices and advancements in cardiovascular care, and implement them in the unit as appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members to promote a positive and safe care environment.
- Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of nursing practice and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Institution.
Current And Valid Rn License In The State Of Oregon.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Cardiovascular Intermediate Care Nursing.
Previous Experience In A Leadership Or Management Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Guidance And Support To Staff.
