Intern - Mechanical

Candidate will provide support to OCSD's Mechanical Engineers and Maintenance. Duties will include data collection, entry, tabulation, and analysis for special projects, reports and studies. This person will help OCSD staff prepare plans and specifications for minor engineering projects; assist in preparing standard details and sketches; organize and maintain drawing files and create a database for shop drawings; perform background literature searches; prepare graphs, maps, and exhibits in support of research or engineering projects. In addition, the intern will perform duties as assigned and reasonably related to the position as needed.

The Orange County Sanitation District operates the third largest wastewater agency west of the Mississippi River. For over 60 years, we have safely collected, treated and disposed of and or reclaimed the wastewater generated by 2.5 million people living and working in central and northwestern Orange County.
