Senior Pharmacy Technician

We are looking for an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Optum. This individual must have a minimum of 5 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting and a valid pharmacy technician license.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including medication ordering and inventory control, medication compounding, and customer service. They will also assist the pharmacist with other tasks as needed. The Senior Pharmacy Technician will be a committed team player who is capable of multitasking and handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment. 1. Manage day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including medication ordering and inventory control, medication compounding, and customer service.

9. Train and manage pharmacy staff.
10. Troubleshoot any issues that arise with medications or orders.
