Senior Manager of Software Engineering

Optum is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Manager of Software Engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the skills and experience necessary to lead our software engineering team and drive the development of innovative and high-performance software solutions. The Senior Manager of Software Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of software products and technologies, as well as for setting and meeting performance goals.To be successful in this role, you should have excellent technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for developing high-quality software products. You should also have a proven track record of success in leading software engineering teams and driving software development projects from concept to completion.The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in software engineering and management, with at least two years of experience leading a software engineering team. We are looking for a leader who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and who can motivate their team to reach their full potential. A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
