Job Description

At Optum, we are looking for a passionate, detail-oriented Outpatient Coding Auditor to join our team. This position requires a person with a strong eye for accuracy who is committed to providing high quality care. The successful candidate will need to possess a combination of coding expertise, problem solving skills, and communication skills. If you are an organized and analytical individual with a commitment to excellence, we would love to hear from you.The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification• Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology or related field preferred• Minimum of two years of experience in outpatient coding• Proficiency in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding• Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy• Familiarity with medical record documentation and coding rules• Ability to work independently and as part of a team• Excellent problem-solving and communication skillsIf you are interested in taking on a new challenge and being part of a growing organization, we encourage you to apply for this position.
