Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Executive Assistant to join Optum Health at Optum. In this role, you will serve as a trusted and high-level administrative assistant to senior executives and provide exceptional organizational and communication skills to ensure efficient daily operations. The ideal candidate should be an individual who is passionate about providing administrative support, organized, and able to work independently with little guidance.To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an Executive Assistant role, an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain a professional demeanor is also essential. Furthermore, you should be able to think ahead and anticipate the needs of the executive team while maintaining a high level of efficiency. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-level administrative support to senior executives
  2. Maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information
  3. Manage schedules, coordinate meetings, and arrange travel
  4. Prepare agendas, reports, memos, and other documents
  5. Anticipate needs of the executive team and provide proactive solutions
  6. Monitor and respond to emails promptly
  7. Act as a liaison between the executive team and other departments
  8. Manage projects, ensure deadlines are met, and provide follow-up as needed
  9. Develop and maintain filing systems and databases
  10. Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
