Job Description

Optum is looking for an experienced Clinical Quality RN to join our team and help provide the highest quality of care to our patients. Our ideal candidate should have a passion for clinical excellence and an enthusiasm to be part of a growing team.The Clinical Quality RN will be responsible for overseeing the quality of patient care and ensuring that Optum meets all regulatory standards set forth by local, state and federal agencies. The successful candidate will have a broad knowledge of clinical care, be highly organized and have excellent communication skills.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field• Current Registered Nurse License in good standing• At least 3 years of experience in a clinical nursing role• Proficient knowledge of patient care standards, quality assurance processes, and clinical documentation• Ability to work independently, multi-task, and prioritize tasks• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Ensure Optum meets all regulatory standards set forth by local, state and federal agencies • Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care provided by Optum • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and clinical documentation requirements • Participate in program and policy development to ensure quality of care • Review and analyze clinical data to identify areas for improvement • Monitor compliance with infection control standards and protocols • Provide training and guidance to staff on quality assurance processes and clinical documentation requirements • Perform on-site reviews of clinical and administrative practices • Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality standards are met • Respond to patient complaints and inquiries in a timely manner • Maintain detailed records of quality assurance activities
