
Associate Director, Compliance
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Associate Director, Compliance to join our team at Optum. The ideal candidate has a strong background in compliance and risk management, with an emphasis on healthcare regulatory compliance. In this role, you will provide guidance and support to ensure that all Optum business units are compliant with applicable regulations. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive compliance program across all areas of the organization, including operations, finance, and legal.The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in compliance, risk management, and/or regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry. You must possess strong leadership skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. In addition, you must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to identify and analyze complex regulatory issues. We are looking for an individual with a high level of initiative, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive compliance program across all areas of the organization, including operations, finance, and legal.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure that all Optum business units are compliant with applicable regulations.
- Identify and analyze complex regulatory issues.
- Maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor changes in regulations and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement training programs for employees to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Provide guidance and support to business units on compliance matters.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory agencies.
- Identify and implement process improvements to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
