Job Description

At Olsson, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Designer (Piping Systems) to join our team and take our engineering capabilities to the next level. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about designing innovative piping systems and is eager to collaborate with our team of professionals.The ideal candidate for this role must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least five years of experience in designing piping systems. The candidate should have a strong understanding of piping design principles, codes, and standards and have the ability to use AutoCAD and other design software. Responsibilities:

  1. Design innovative piping systems in accordance with codes and standards.
  2. Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create accurate and efficient piping systems.
  3. Develop specifications, drawings, and other documents related to piping systems.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to piping systems.
  5. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure successful completion of projects.
  6. Assist with the development and implementation of new design methods and processes.
  7. Maintain accurate records of design projects.
  8. Monitor and update designs based on changes in regulations and standards.
  9. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
