Lead Environmental Scientist - NEPA

As the Lead Environmental Scientist - NEPA, you’ll develop and manage projects related to NEPA compliance, providing technical guidance and advice to ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements.To be successful in this position, you’ll need a master’s degree in environmental science or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in NEPA compliance. Responsibilities:

-Develop and manage projects related to NEPA compliance -Provide technical guidance and advice to ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements -Lead a team of environmental scientists -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to NEPA -Write and review environmental reports, plans, and permits -Maintain records of project activities and progress -Participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals -Communicate project status and progress to clients and other stakeholders -Collaborate with other professionals to identify potential environmental impacts and mitigation strategies -Work independently and with teams to complete projects on time and within budget
