At Olsson, we’re looking for a Lead Environmental Scientist - NEPA to join our growing team. If you’re an experienced environmental scientist with a passion for project management, then this role could be a great opportunity for you.We’re looking for an individual with strong technical expertise in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process and excellent communication skills to lead our team of environmental scientists. As the Lead Environmental Scientist - NEPA, you’ll develop and manage projects related to NEPA compliance, providing technical guidance and advice to ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements.To be successful in this position, you’ll need a master’s degree in environmental science or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience in NEPA compliance. Responsibilities:
-Develop and manage projects related to NEPA compliance -Provide technical guidance and advice to ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements -Lead a team of environmental scientists -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to NEPA -Write and review environmental reports, plans, and permits -Maintain records of project activities and progress -Participate in meetings with clients, stakeholders, and other professionals -Communicate project status and progress to clients and other stakeholders -Collaborate with other professionals to identify potential environmental impacts and mitigation strategies -Work independently and with teams to complete projects on time and within budget
Excellent Written And Verbal Communication Skills
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Environmental Science
At Least Years Of Professional Experience In Environmental Consulting
Experience With And Knowledge Of National Environmental Policy Act (Nepa) And/Or Other Environmental Regulations And Guidelines
Ability To Understand And Interpret Technical And Scientific Data
Ability To Manage Multiple Projects
