Commercial Legal Counsel

Oliver Wyman Group is looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel who is passionate about providing legal guidance and advice to our business groups. The ideal candidate will have a legal background in contract law and corporate law coupled with a deep understanding of the consulting industry and our clients’ needs. The Commercial Legal Counsel will have the opportunity to make a real impact on our client service and our business.To be considered for this role, you must have a law degree from an accredited law school, as well as 3-5 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department. You must also have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to work collaboratively across many departments. Responsibilities:

1. Provide legal guidance and advice to business groups on contract law and corporate law.
2. Develop a deep understanding of the consulting industry and clients’ needs.
3. Make a real impact on client service and the business.
4. Stay up to date on changes in the legal landscape.
5. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts.
6. Effectively communicate legal advice to management, staff, and clients.
7. Monitor legal compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
8. Maintain corporate records and ensure legal documents are properly filed.
9. Develop and implement legal policies and procedures.
10. Develop and deliver legal training programs.
