Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the operations of the fleet of vehicles, ensuring that they are in compliance with safety and productivity standards.
2. Analyze and optimize route planning, dispatch and fleet management procedures.
3. Monitor and track vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and efficient utilization.
4. Develop and implement strategies for reducing operational costs.
5. Monitor the performance of the fleet and make necessary changes to ensure optimal performance.
6. Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
7. Maintain and track all fleet documents, including maintenance records, insurance policies, and vehicle registrations.
8. Track and report on fleet performance metrics, including cost per mile, fuel efficiency, and vehicle availability.
9. Ensure compliance with all local and federal laws and regulations pertaining to the fleet.
10. Coordinate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
