HVAC Technician

Inspects and assures machinery in operation is functioning properly with acceptable pressures and temperatures; engages in basic troubleshooting activities and performs minor repairs. Performs machinery and mechanical component maintenance that includes but is not limited to: belt adjustments or renewals, traps and strainer cleaning, machinery oiling and greasing, filter media changes, equipment and equipment room cleaning, heavy lifting of equipment.. Maintains HVAC systems by reclaiming, recycling, replacing, and/or pulling vacuums. Labels and tracks equipment inventory and records inventory data. Monitors boiler operations as necessary and ensures safe operations; reports any operating issues or service needs to appropriate parties.
