Sr. Accountant - Cost

Oakley is seeking an experienced Sr. Accountant - Cost to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the cost accounting function and ensuring accuracy and completeness of all financial data. Our ideal candidate is a highly motivated, detail-oriented professional with exceptional analytic and organizational skills.To be successful in this position, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and at least 5 years of progressive accounting experience. In addition, you must have a strong understanding of accounting principles, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and cost accounting. Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage the cost accounting function and ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data.
2. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
3. Develop and implement cost accounting processes and procedures.
4. Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
5. Prepare financial statements, reports, and analyses.
6. Analyze financial information to recommend or develop efficient use of resources and procedures.
7. Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
8. Prepare and maintain accurate account reconciliations.
9. Prepare and review budgets and forecasts.
10. Assist with the preparation and review of year-end financial statements.
11. Assist with the completion of financial audits.
12. Develop and maintain effective relationships with external auditors.
13. Stay informed of current accounting and finance regulations and trends.
