  1. Develop and implement innovative and efficient manufacturing processes in collaboration with the engineering team.
  2. Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement to increase productivity and reduce costs.
  3. Design and conduct experiments to test new processes and technologies.
  4. Lead cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and optimize production.
  5. Utilize statistical tools and methods to analyze process data and make data-driven decisions.
  6. Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  7. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on process engineering principles and techniques.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in process engineering to continuously improve processes.
  9. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate new equipment and materials.
  10. Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all process development and improvement initiatives.
  11. Participate in budget planning and cost control efforts related to process engineering projects.
  12. Communicate regularly with management to provide updates on project progress and identify potential roadblocks.
  13. Act as a subject matter expert for process engineering and provide technical support to other departments as needed.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Engineering: A Senior Process Engineer At Oakley Must Possess A Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Engineering Field Such As Mechanical, Chemical, Or Industrial Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience: Oakley Requires A Minimum Of 7 Years Of Experience In Process Engineering For Their Senior Process Engineer Position. This Experience Should Include Leading Process Improvement Projects And Working With Cross-Functional Teams.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Manufacturing Processes: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Manufacturing Processes, Including Injection Molding, Machining, And Assembly. This Knowledge Is Crucial In Identifying Areas For Improvement And Implementing Efficient Processes.

  • Experience With Lean And Six Sigma Methodologies: Oakley Values Individuals With Experience In Lean And Six Sigma Methodologies, As They Are Focused On Continuous Improvement And Efficiency. A Senior Process Engineer Should Be Able To Apply These Tools To Identify And Eliminate Waste In The Production Process.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: As A Senior Process Engineer, One Must Be Able To Analyze Complex Problems And Come Up With Practical Solutions. This Requires Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills, As Well As The Ability To Work Well Under Pressure And Meet Tight Deadlines.
