• Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and address any safety concerns
• Train and educate employees on safety procedures and protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and emergency response plans
• Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, including near misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks in new products and processes
• Stay up-to-date on relevant safety regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management
• Manage and maintain safety data and records, including incident reports, training materials, and safety data sheets
• Lead safety committees and meetings to discuss and address any safety-related issues or concerns
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement
• Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to foster a strong safety culture and promote safe work practices
• Conduct regular safety trainings and drills to ensure employees are prepared for emergency situations
• Manage and oversee the budget for safety-related expenses, including equipment, training, and resources
• Collaborate with external agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
