- Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and address any safety concerns
- Train and educate employees on safety procedures and protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and emergency response plans
- Investigate and report on any incidents or accidents, including near misses, and provide recommendations for corrective actions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential safety risks in new products and processes
- Stay up-to-date on relevant safety regulations and industry best practices, and make recommendations for improvement to senior management
- Manage and maintain safety data and records, including incident reports, training materials, and safety data sheets
- Lead safety committees and meetings to discuss and address any safety-related issues or concerns
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Provide coaching and support to managers and employees to foster a strong safety culture and promote safe work practices
- Conduct regular safety trainings and drills to ensure employees are prepared for emergency situations
- Manage and oversee the budget for safety-related expenses, including equipment, training, and resources
- Collaborate with external agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
Bachelor's Degree In Occupational Health And Safety, Environmental Science, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Safety Management Role, Preferably In A Manufacturing Or Industrial Setting.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Osha Regulations And Other Relevant Safety Standards.
Strong Leadership Skills And Experience In Managing A Team Of Safety Professionals.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Train And Educate Employees On Safety Practices.
