  1. Collaborate with the design team to brainstorm and develop new eyewear concepts and designs.
  2. Conduct market research and trend analysis to identify opportunities for innovation.
  3. Create detailed sketches and technical drawings of eyewear designs.
  4. Utilize CAD software to create 3D models and prototypes.
  5. Work closely with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
  6. Participate in design meetings and provide valuable input and feedback.
  7. Assist with the preparation and presentation of design pitches and proposals.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in technology to incorporate into designs.
  9. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all designs.
  10. Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing and sales, to ensure designs align with brand image and target market.
  11. Adhere to project timelines and meet deadlines for design deliverables.
  12. Take direction and guidance from senior design team members and use feedback to improve designs.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities to learn and grow as an eyewear designer.
  14. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining confidentiality of any sensitive information.
  15. Represent Oakley with a professional and positive attitude at all times.

Job Qualifications

  • Strong Design Skills: A Successful Candidate For This Position Should Possess Strong Design Skills, Including The Ability To Conceptualize And Sketch Eyewear Designs, As Well As Proficiency In Design Software Such As Adobe Illustrator Or Cad.

  • Knowledge Of Eyewear Industry: A Strong Understanding Of The Eyewear Industry, Including Current Trends, Materials, And Manufacturing Processes, Is Essential For An Eyewear Designer Internship At Oakley.
