- Develop and lead the overall category strategy for Culture & Lifestyle at Oakley, in alignment with the brand's overall vision and goals.
- Stay up-to-date on current culture and lifestyle trends, as well as competitors' activities, to inform and guide strategy development.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key influencers, tastemakers, and cultural leaders to enhance the brand's presence and relevance in the culture and lifestyle space.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and sales, to ensure seamless execution of category initiatives.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify consumer insights and needs, and use this information to develop impactful campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop and manage the category budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to drive maximum ROI.
- Oversee the creation and execution of engaging and innovative marketing campaigns, events, and partnerships that align with the brand's culture and lifestyle strategy.
- Lead and mentor a team of category professionals, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to ensure their success.
- Foster a culture of innovation and creativity within the category team, encouraging them to push boundaries and think outside the box.
- Monitor and track the success of category initiatives, analyzing data and metrics to inform future strategies and campaigns.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing Oakley at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, presenting category plans and results to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Continuously evaluate and adapt category strategies to stay ahead of industry trends and consumer preferences.
- Uphold and promote the brand's values, mission, and vision in all category initiatives and communications.
- Embody a strong understanding of the Oakley brand and its target audience, and use this knowledge to drive category success.
Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In A Similar Role, Preferably In The Lifestyle Or Consumer Goods Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Current Cultural And Lifestyle Trends, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Identifying And Capitalizing On Emerging Trends.
Excellent Leadership And Management Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Lead And Motivate A Team To Achieve Ambitious Goals.
Proven Experience In Developing And Executing Successful Category Strategies, Including Product Development, Marketing, And Sales Initiatives.
Bachelor's Degree In Business, Marketing, Or A Related Field, With A Strong Understanding Of Financial Analysis And Budget Management. Mba Or Other Advanced Degree Preferred.
