- Develop and implement quality assurance strategies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Novartis policies.
- Lead and manage a team of quality professionals to maintain and continuously improve the quality culture at the manufacturing site.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential quality risks and issues.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and systems for quality and compliance.
- Provide guidance and support in the investigation and resolution of quality-related incidents and deviations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for regulatory agencies and represent the company during audits and inspections.
- Stay informed of industry regulations and best practices to ensure the site remains in compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and problem-solving.
- Mentor and train team members to ensure a thorough understanding of quality standards and procedures.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with other Site Quality Heads to share best practices and drive consistency across the organization.
- Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and ensure that all products meet the highest standards of quality.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency while maintaining compliance.
- Act as an ambassador for the Novartis mission and values, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Extensive Quality Assurance Experience: A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Quality Assurance, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Track Record Of Successful Quality Management And Compliance.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: A Thorough Understanding Of Global Regulatory Requirements For Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Including Fda, Ema, And Other Relevant Authorities.
Strong Leadership Skills: Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Develop A Team, With A Focus On Quality And Compliance. Proven Experience In Managing And Driving Change In A Complex And Dynamic Environment.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: Strong Communication Skills And The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Manufacturing, R&D, And Regulatory Affairs.
Quality Management System Expertise: Experience In Implementing And Maintaining A Robust Quality Management System, Including Quality Risk Management, Deviation Management, Change Control, And Document Control. Familiarity With Industry Standards Such As Iso, Ich, And Gmp Is Also Required.
