Advanced Degree In Chemistry Or Related Field: A Senior Principal Scientist In Computational Medicinal Chemistry At Novartis Should Possess At Least A Phd In Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Or A Related Field. This Advanced Degree Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Excel In This Role.
Extensive Experience In Computational Drug Design: Candidates Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In Computational Drug Design, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry Setting. This Experience Should Include A Demonstrated Track Record Of Successfully Applying Computational Methods To The Discovery And Optimization Of Drug Candidates.
Expertise In Molecular Modeling And Simulation Software: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Molecular Modeling And Simulation Techniques And Have A Strong Working Knowledge Of Industry Standard Software, Such As Schrödinger, Moe, Or Gromacs.
