Senior Cluster Procurement Manager

- Develop and implement procurement strategies for the cluster operations in alignment with Novartis' overall goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, finance, and legal to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Lead the sourcing process for key materials and services, including identifying potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing relationships.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and conditions to inform decision making and ensure competitive pricing.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier consolidation and process improvements, to optimize procurement operations.
- Manage supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements to ensure procurement practices are in line with legal and ethical standards.
- Develop and manage the cluster procurement budget, tracking expenses and identifying opportunities for cost reduction.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to the procurement team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Extensive Procurement Experience: A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Procurement, With A Strong Track Record Of Success In Managing Complex Procurement Processes And Leading Teams.
Strategic Sourcing Expertise: Demonstrated Expertise In Strategic Sourcing Methodologies, Including Category Management, Supplier Relationship Management, And Cost Optimization Strategies.
Pharmaceutical Industry Knowledge: In-Depth Understanding Of The Pharmaceutical Industry, Including Market Trends, Regulatory Requirements, And Supply Chain Dynamics.
Leadership And Team Management Skills: Proven Ability To Lead And Develop High-Performing Teams, With Strong Communication, Interpersonal, And Problem-Solving Skills.
Project Management Skills: Demonstrated Experience In Managing Large-Scale Procurement Projects, With The Ability To Effectively Prioritize And Manage Competing Priorities To Meet Project Timelines And Goals.
