  1. Develop and oversee the implementation of research informatics strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
  2. Lead a team of research informatics professionals, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the successful execution of projects.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address research informatics needs and challenges.
  4. Oversee the management and utilization of data and technology, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with regulations.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree, Preferably A Phd, In A Field Such As Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Or A Related Field Is Required For This Role. This Ensures The Candidate Has A Strong Foundation In The Technical Aspects Of Research Informatics.

  • Extensive Experience In Pharmaceutical Industry: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 7-10 Years Of Experience In Research Informatics Within The Pharmaceutical Industry. This Will Demonstrate A Deep Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Requirements Of Using Informatics In Drug Discovery And Development.

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires The Ability To Lead And Manage A Team Of Informatics Professionals, As Well As Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams. The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Successful Project Management And Team Leadership.

  • Knowledge Of Informatics Tools And Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Various Informatics Tools And Technologies, Such As Data Management Systems, Data Analytics, And Data Visualization Tools. Familiarity With Relevant Programming Languages And Databases Is Also Necessary.

  • Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen: As An Associate Director, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Developing And Implementing Informatics Strategies That Align With The Overall Business Objectives Of Novartis. Therefore, Strong Strategic Thinking And Business Acumen Are Essential Qualifications For This Role.
