Novartis is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Pharmaceutical Sales Intern to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a college student or recent graduate to gain experience working in the pharmaceutical industry. As a Pharmaceutical Sales Intern, you will be responsible for a variety of sales-related and administrative tasks, and will get the chance to gain an in-depth understanding of our industry and our products.The ideal candidate will have an outstanding academic record, excellent communication skills, and a strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry. You must be highly organized and have the ability to prioritize tasks and work with minimal supervision. A high level of comfort with technology and a customer service mindset are essential. An understanding of the sales process and knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the sales process from start to finish, including pre-call planning, product demonstrations, sales presentations, and post-call follow-up.
- Gather data from customers and potential customers, and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Help coordinate and manage events to promote products and build relationships with customers.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of Novartis products, services, and the pharmaceutical industry.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships with an emphasis on customer service.
- Assist in developing and executing sales strategies to increase sales and profitability.
- Prepare reports and presentations to keep management informed of progress and performance.
- Utilize technology to track and manage customer information, orders, and sales.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed of changes in the industry.
- Adhere to all safety and compliance regulations.
